It was so great getting to talk with you today. I could tell right away that you've thought deeply about what this day means and why you want it documented the way you do. Sitting in your office surrounded by eight scrapbooks your mom made of your family will do that to a person.
The way you described what you love about film and photography said everything: it's not about the staged portraits. It's about the context. The moment your girls are laughing about something in the background. The quiet before the ceremony. Your friend's mom seeing you in your dress for the first time. Those are the moments your mom would have filmed on her camcorder, and those are exactly the moments I show up to capture.
Koury Farms is one of my absolute favorite venues. Scott has been so good to me over the years, and I know that space like the back of my hand. The light, the covered outdoor ceremony area, the way the barn doesn't feel overdone. It's the perfect backdrop for the natural, timeless look you have in mind.

About the Story Session
Think of it as a video engagement session. We meet up before the wedding, just the two of you and the camera, and we spend an hour getting Andrew comfortable on film. By the time your wedding day arrives, the camera is already familiar. Beyond that, it is a chance to tell the story of how you two met and fell in love. Tinder and all. That backstory adds something to the wedding film that no highlight reel can manufacture: it gives the audience a real sense of who you are before the vows even start
