Hey Bri & Matt!

Let’s Talk

Videography!

Hey Bri & Matt!

Thank you so much for sharing your story and your vision with me — it’s clear how much heart you’re putting into this day. You’re not just planning a wedding; you’re creating an experience for your guests, your families, and for each other. And I’m honored to be considered to help preserve that.

From the start, you both emphasized how important it is to capture not just the moments, but the emotion — especially the ones you might miss in the busyness of the day. That’s exactly what this proposal is built around.

Your first look and vows stood out as something deeply meaningful to you, not only to ease nerves but to truly ground yourselves in the moment before everything begins. And the decision to do portraits ahead of time so you can join cocktail hour? That says so much about your love for your people and wanting to be fully present with them.

That’s also why I included the Video Guest Book — it’s a way for your guests to leave messages that go beyond a few lines in a book. You’ll hear their voices, see their faces, and feel the love they brought with them. It adds something personal and emotional that becomes even more special over time.

With coverage from two videographers, we can make sure those behind-the-scenes moments — from getting ready at your Airbnb to arriving at the venue — are fully documented without missing the bigger story unfolding. And if most of your speeches are happening during the rehearsal dinner, I highly recommend capturing that as well. People tend to speak more freely and emotionally in that intimate setting, and those stories are often what elevate the final film into something truly timeless.

What you’ll find below are not just packages — they’re thoughtfully crafted options built around the things that matter most to you: your connection, your people, and your memories.

I’d love to walk through the options with you and help tailor something that fits your vision perfectly.

With gratitude,
Josh

What You Can Expect with Josh Hill Films

The day flies by. We make sure it lasts forever.

When you invite me into your wedding day, you’re not hiring someone to show up and press record. You’re choosing a storyteller. A calm presence. Someone who knows when to step in, when to step back, and how to capture the in-between moments—the squeeze of a hand, the tear you tried to hide, the way your person looked at you when you weren’t looking.

My approach is intentional, relational, and rooted in trust. I take time to understand your story so I can film it in a way that feels honest—not overdone, not underwhelming—just real, emotional, and timeless.

From the first call to the final delivery, you can expect an experience that’s…

✦ Personal

I don’t use a one-size-fits-all formula. I tailor how I film to fit you—your priorities, your personalities, your pace. That way, your film feels like a reflection of your story, not just a recap of your day.

✦ Professional

I bring experience, preparation, and intention to every wedding. You can count on clear communication, prompt responses, and a thoughtful process that keeps things easy and enjoyable from start to finish.

✦ Present

You won’t find me shouting directions or over-directing your day. I know when to give gentle guidance and when to let the moment unfold naturally—because the best moments aren’t staged, they’re lived.

I’m not just here to deliver a highlight reel. I’m here to preserve what it felt like.

Because your wedding day will go by in a blur—but the right film lets you go back and live it all again.

The Story Behind Josh Hill Films

For me, this all started with a simple idea:
I need pictures so the memory lasts longer.

At first, it was just snapping photos on my phone—nothing fancy, just moments I didn’t want to forget. A funny expression. A quiet walk. A feeling I wanted to hold onto. Eventually, I picked up a real camera, and something clicked. I realized I didn’t just want to save memories for myself—I wanted to help other people hold onto theirs, too.

That’s how Josh Hill Films began.

Now, years later, I’m still driven by that same intention. But the meaning has only deepened—especially after becoming a dad to my daughter, Hazel. She’s shown me that the most precious moments aren’t always the perfectly posed ones. It’s the chaos. The calm. The ordinary things that turn out to be everything.

And right now? I’m also in the thick of planning my own wedding.

That experience has shaped how I show up for my couples more than anything else. I know how much time, thought, and emotion you’re pouring into this day. I know what it’s like to want everything to be meaningful, personal, and right—without getting overwhelmed by all the moving parts.

So I built Josh Hill Films around what I’d want for myself:
Clear communication. A calm, supportive presence. And a film that brings the day back to life—not just how it looked, but how it felt.

Because this isn’t just about one day. It’s about creating a legacy of love and memory you’ll carry for the rest of your life.
