It was so good getting to talk with you both today. I loved hearing how you two found each other on Hinge a little over a year and a half ago and just knew. John, what stuck with me most was when you talked about wanting your future kids to be able to look back and actually see you. You said you have maybe five photos of your parents' wedding, and you want your kids to have so much more than that. That is exactly what this work is for.
Emma, you told me you love the naturalness and timelessness of everything, the kind of photos where it looks like you did not even know the camera was there. That candid, effortless feel is my favorite thing to create. And John, I heard you loud and clear that you want both of your reactions captured, not just Emma's. That is exactly what my second photographer is there for, catching the real, unposed moments from every angle while we guide you through the day so you never have to think about it.
Koury Farms is one of my favorite venues, and I shoot there often. With a later ceremony around 5:30 and sunset at 8:05, the light out there is going to be beautiful well into the evening, so we can keep your portrait time short like you wanted and still come away with the garden, modern feel you fell in love with. You will have a team that knows the space and shows up with backups for everything, so the whole day stays off your plate.

About the Story Session
Think of it as a video engagement session. We meet up before the wedding, just the two of you and the camera, and we spend an hour getting you both comfortable on film. By the time your wedding day arrives, the camera is already familiar. Beyond that, it is a chance to tell the story of how you two met and fell in love. How you met on Hinge a little over a year and a half ago and knew almost right away that you wanted to spend the rest of your lives together. That backstory adds something to the wedding film that no highlight reel can manufacture: it gives the audience a real sense of who you are before the vows even start
