Hey Jovanna & Rosendo!

Let’s Talk

Wedding!

A young man in a black suit and tie standing by a window with a wooden frame, holding a camera in his right hand, smiling.

Hi Jovanna,

Thank you again for such a great conversation — I could tell how much heart and thought you’re putting into this day, and I’m honored to be a part of capturing it. Before you look through the options, I just wanted to reflect back what I heard from you and what this proposal is built around.

You’re planning a full, meaningful day — one where your people matter just as much as the timeline. From your misa and the way you’re looking forward to seeing his reaction, to your first looks with your dad, brother, and maybe your sisters, this is a day layered with emotion, tradition, and connection.

You mentioned wanting your film to feel immersive — like you're right back in it — not just a camera in the corner or a highlight reel focused only on you two. You want to see your guests, your family, their reactions… even the tears you might not notice in the moment. And I’m here for all of that.

This proposal is built with that in mind:
→ Two photographers and two videographers to split up and be fully present at both getting ready locations
→ The ability to capture the reception space before guests arrive
→ Full coverage of the misa, first looks, and reception storytelling that feels like being there — not just watching it
→ A film that lets voices be heard and emotions be felt

So take your time looking it over — and let me know what feels right for you. I’d be truly honored to help you remember this day the way you felt it.

With care,
Josh

What You Can Expect with Josh Hill Films

The day flies by. We make sure it lasts forever.

When you invite me into your wedding day, you’re not hiring someone to show up and press record. You’re choosing a storyteller. A calm presence. Someone who knows when to step in, when to step back, and how to capture the in-between moments—the squeeze of a hand, the tear you tried to hide, the way your person looked at you when you weren’t looking.

My approach is intentional, relational, and rooted in trust. I take time to understand your story so I can film it in a way that feels honest—not overdone, not underwhelming—just real, emotional, and timeless.

From the first call to the final delivery, you can expect an experience that’s…

✦ Personal

I don’t use a one-size-fits-all formula. I tailor how I film to fit you—your priorities, your personalities, your pace. That way, your film feels like a reflection of your story, not just a recap of your day.

✦ Professional

I bring experience, preparation, and intention to every wedding. You can count on clear communication, prompt responses, and a thoughtful process that keeps things easy and enjoyable from start to finish.

✦ Present

You won’t find me shouting directions or over-directing your day. I know when to give gentle guidance and when to let the moment unfold naturally—because the best moments aren’t staged, they’re lived.

I’m not just here to deliver a highlight reel. I’m here to preserve what it felt like.

Because your wedding day will go by in a blur—but the right film lets you go back and live it all again.

The Story Behind Josh Hill Films

For me, this all started with a simple idea:
I need pictures so the memory lasts longer.

At first, it was just snapping photos on my phone—nothing fancy, just moments I didn’t want to forget. A funny expression. A quiet walk. A feeling I wanted to hold onto. Eventually, I picked up a real camera, and something clicked. I realized I didn’t just want to save memories for myself—I wanted to help other people hold onto theirs, too.

That’s how Josh Hill Films began.

Now, years later, I’m still driven by that same intention. But the meaning has only deepened—especially after becoming a dad to my daughter, Hazel. She’s shown me that the most precious moments aren’t always the perfectly posed ones. It’s the chaos. The calm. The ordinary things that turn out to be everything.

And right now? I’m also in the thick of planning my own wedding.

That experience has shaped how I show up for my couples more than anything else. I know how much time, thought, and emotion you’re pouring into this day. I know what it’s like to want everything to be meaningful, personal, and right—without getting overwhelmed by all the moving parts.

So I built Josh Hill Films around what I’d want for myself:
Clear communication. A calm, supportive presence. And a film that brings the day back to life—not just how it looked, but how it felt.

Because this isn’t just about one day. It’s about creating a legacy of love and memory you’ll carry for the rest of your life.
