It was so good talking with you. I got off that call already picturing the day, which does not always happen the first time around.
The thing that stuck with me most was what you said about wanting to sit down and watch this back every anniversary. That is the whole reason I work the way I do. Not a highlight reel you watch once and forget about, but the actual day, kept in a form that still holds up on your tenth.
I also heard how much the ceremony itself matters to you. An Orthodox crowning is not something you can cover with a few wide shots and hope for the best. The crowns, the common cup, the three times around the table behind the priest, those beats come in a set order and they do not wait for a camera to get into position. And your godparents are in nearly every frame of it, standing right behind you holding the candles for the whole service. Most videographers treat them as background. They are not background, they are the two people you chose to stand there, and I will be filming them like it. I want to be ready for all of it instead of a second late, so I film the ceremony in full, start to finish.
And then the celebrating. You told me how many people are coming, and honestly that is my favorite kind of day. When a room is that full, the best moments stop being scheduled. They just happen, in three places at once, which is exactly why I bring the team sizes you'll see below.
Last thing, and maybe the most important one. You said you want a team that can blend into the day but also step in when you need us, and that staying stress free is a big deal for you. That is the job as much as the filming is. Most of the time you will forget we are there. When you do need direction, I will give it to you gently, and you will look like yourselves, not like people being posed. One thing worth flagging as you compare them: an Orthodox crowning service often runs an hour to an hour and a half on its own, so when you are weighing hours of coverage, count the ceremony as a real piece of the day and not a quick stop between getting ready and the reception. What is a “Bride’s Choice” Film?
The Bride's Choice Film is a full-length documentary of your wedding day, not a highlight reel. Every meaningful moment from beginning to end: the ceremony in full, the speeches, the quiet in-between parts that most films leave on the cutting room floor. It is edited to feel honest and unhurried, so years from now you are not just seeing the best moments. You are reliving the whole day. If you would rather have the raw footage to keep and do what you want with, that option is yours too.
Every collection includes a full-length film of your wedding day. What changes between them is how much of the day that film can cover. The Directors Cut runs 12 hours with two videographers, so the Bride's Choice Film is the most complete version there is, from the earliest part of getting ready through the end of the night, with almost nothing of the day left out. The Feature Film and The Home Video include the Full Wedding Day Film, the same kind of start to finish edit, built from the hours in that collection.

About the Story Session
Think of it as a video engagement session. We meet up before the wedding, just the two of you and the camera, and we spend an hour together. Part of it is practical. By the time your wedding day comes around, being filmed already feels normal, so nothing about the day feels like a production. The bigger part is the story. Giuliano sending that DM two years early and getting turned down, then joining the church caroling group anyway, and where the two of you ended up five and a half years later. That backstory adds something to the wedding film that no highlight reel can manufacture. It gives everyone watching a real sense of who you are before the crowning even starts.
Worth clarifying, since the two get mixed up: The Story Session is photo and video together, and it is included in The Directors Cut. The Feature Film includes a Weekday Photo Engagement Session, which is the photo-only version, shot Monday through Thursday.

Additional Hour of Coverage: $500
An Orthodox wedding day runs long. The crowning service on its own is often an hour to an hour and a half, and that is before the hall even opens up. An extra hour means we are never watching the clock while the moments that matter are still happening.
Additional Shooter: $1,000
Every collection already includes two photographers, so this is one more set of hands beyond that. In The Home Video it adds a second videographer. In The Feature Film it extends your second photographer and second videographer past the 7 hours to the full day. The Directors Cut already has the full team for all 12 hours, so this one is for adding a third shooter if you want a dedicated camera on the godparents and family the whole service. With a guest list this size, the day stops happening in one place. While I am on your faces during a toast, someone needs to be on the room reacting to it.
Video Guest Book: $500
Already included in The Directors Cut and The Feature Film, so this is for The Home Video. You said the celebrating and the people are a huge part of this day. With this many guests, most of what they want to say to you will get lost in the noise. This is how you keep it, in their words, in the moment.
