Hey Savannah & Tarren!

Let’s Talk

Videography!

Savannah, thank you again for taking the time to share your story, your heart, and your vision for your wedding day.
It was obvious how deeply you value family, authenticity, and preserving the real moments that make life meaningful.
That’s exactly the kind of wedding film we love creating — something that feels like you, lasts for generations, and honors the people who matter most.

Below is a custom set of options designed around everything you shared:

  • Your desire for organic, candid moments

  • Your wish to avoid staged or influencer-style content

  • The importance of capturing family traveling from California

  • Your preference for full-ceremony coverage and the complete toasts

  • Your thoughtful wedding timeline (getting ready → first look → ceremony → guests → party)

  • Your goal of staying within the $3,000–$4,000 range without sacrificing meaningful memories

  • Your consideration of a second videographer due to the 200+ guests

Each option below is intentionally crafted to support the story you want to preserve — not a production, not a performance — just a film that feels honest, warm, and timeless.

What You Can Expect with Josh Hill Films

The day flies by. We make sure it lasts forever.

When you invite me into your wedding day, you’re not hiring someone to show up and press record. You’re choosing a storyteller. A calm presence. Someone who knows when to step in, when to step back, and how to capture the in-between moments—the squeeze of a hand, the tear you tried to hide, the way your person looked at you when you weren’t looking.

My approach is intentional, relational, and rooted in trust. I take time to understand your story so I can film it in a way that feels honest—not overdone, not underwhelming—just real, emotional, and timeless.

From the first call to the final delivery, you can expect an experience that’s…

✦ Personal

I don’t use a one-size-fits-all formula. I tailor how I film to fit you—your priorities, your personalities, your pace. That way, your film feels like a reflection of your story, not just a recap of your day.

✦ Professional

I bring experience, preparation, and intention to every wedding. You can count on clear communication, prompt responses, and a thoughtful process that keeps things easy and enjoyable from start to finish.

✦ Present

You won’t find me shouting directions or over-directing your day. I know when to give gentle guidance and when to let the moment unfold naturally—because the best moments aren’t staged, they’re lived.

I’m not just here to deliver a highlight reel. I’m here to preserve what it felt like.

Because your wedding day will go by in a blur—but the right film lets you go back and live it all again.

The Story Behind Josh Hill Films

For me, this all started with a simple idea:
I need pictures so the memory lasts longer.

At first, it was just snapping photos on my phone—nothing fancy, just moments I didn’t want to forget. A funny expression. A quiet walk. A feeling I wanted to hold onto. Eventually, I picked up a real camera, and something clicked. I realized I didn’t just want to save memories for myself—I wanted to help other people hold onto theirs, too.

That’s how Josh Hill Films began.

Now, years later, I’m still driven by that same intention. But the meaning has only deepened—especially after becoming a dad to my daughter, Hazel. She’s shown me that the most precious moments aren’t always the perfectly posed ones. It’s the chaos. The calm. The ordinary things that turn out to be everything.

And right now? I’m also in the thick of planning my own wedding.

That experience has shaped how I show up for my couples more than anything else. I know how much time, thought, and emotion you’re pouring into this day. I know what it’s like to want everything to be meaningful, personal, and right—without getting overwhelmed by all the moving parts.

So I built Josh Hill Films around what I’d want for myself:
Clear communication. A calm, supportive presence. And a film that brings the day back to life—not just how it looked, but how it felt.

Because this isn’t just about one day. It’s about creating a legacy of love and memory you’ll carry for the rest of your life.

✨ What Happens Next

You’ve got options, and I want to help you choose what feels right.

We’ll hop on a quick call where I’ll walk you through each collection, explain why I’m recommending them based on your day, and answer any questions you have. No pressure—just real talk to make sure everything fits your vibe and vision.

Once you’re ready, I’ll send over a booking link with your contract and invoice. A $1,000 retainer officially secures your date—and from there, we’re off to the races.

Here’s how it all goes down:

  1. We chat through the collections and customize if needed

  2. I send the contract + booking link

  3. You sign and place your $1,000 retainer

  4. Your date is officially locked in 🎉

  5. We celebrate (and maybe pop some bubbly 🍾)

You said something during our call that stuck with me:

“Some of the people who will be at our wedding won’t be alive 20 or 30 years from now.”

This proposal is built with that in mind —
not just documenting your day,
but preserving the people who make your day worth remembering.

I’m honored you’re considering us, and excited to help you create a film your future kids will one day watch and feel:
“This is who my parents were.”

Whenever you’re ready, just tell me which option feels right.
– Josh
